Wash day can be the most rewarding yet most tiresome day in a woman's (or man's) hair care routine. But the night before wash day can really make all the difference in how the wash day will turn out. There are a few things you can do to make your wash day seamless and rewarding the night before. But the most important, in my humble opinion, is prepooing.
Prepooing is SO IMPORTANT in your hair care routine for so many reasons.
Stimulates your scalp which is good for encouraging optimal blood circulation
Reduces irritation and inflammation which reverses dryness
Reduces oil overproduction
Provides much needed nourishment
Breaks down product and protein build up
Perfect for ALL hair types
With a benefit line-up like this you have to prepoo at this point. I often recommend scalp massages at night before bed to encourage blood circulation as well and specifically at night because laying down for sleep puts the body in a prime position for this process. I am not saying that blood does not flow to your scalp during the day lol I am saying you can gain optimal results while laying down.
Crown Growth Oil acts as an incredible prepoo treatment. Not only does it contain all of the vital nutrients needed for healthy and beautiful hair but the harmonious formula helps restore the moisture balance in your hair. This means, less tangles, soft and strong hair. Here's how to prepoo:
Damp your hair with water (be sure not to drench your hair with water)
Section your hair in at least 4 sections
Apply a generous amount of Crown Growth Oil to your scalp, roots and massage down the shaft
Cover your hair with a plastic cap and a scarf or your Moisture Protection Bonnet
Time for sleep
I would recommend doing this treatment weekly before wash day if you are suffering from dry hair and dry scalp or rehabilitating from breakage and/or thinning. Otherwise biweekly-monthly will do just fine if you're simply looking to keep your hair moisturized during the winter months and grow past any stubborn breakpoints (growth stunt). Try this treatment out and let me know how it goes! Remember to tag @QueensMagicHair and hashtag #CrownGrowthOilPrepoo
